KRONOS

KRONOS is an open-weight embedding model from MahmoodLab. KRONOS (BF16) weighs 175 MB; the smallest configuration that runs it is RTX 3060 12 GB.

• KRONOS is a panel-agnostic foundation model for spatial proteomics developed by MahmoodLab.
• It is a Multiplex Vision Transformer-Small self-supervised on 47 million single-marker patches spanning 175 protein markers, 16 tissue types, 8 imaging platforms, and 5 institutions.
• The model is released under the CC-BY-NC-ND-4.0 license for non-commercial academic research only.
