About
A ResNet - Vision Transformer (ViT) hybrid image classification model. Pretrained on ImageNet-21k in JAX by paper authors, ported to PyTorch by Ross Wightman. This model does not have a classification head, useful for features and fine-tune only.

How it works
Using it via the API
Once AxForge deploys vit-base-r50-s16-224-orig-in21k for you, it answers on the OpenAI-compatible API — the same base URL and keys as every other model. (vit-base-r50-s16-224-orig-in21k below is illustrative; you get the exact model name on deployment.)
$ curl -sS https://api.axforge.ai/v1/embeddings \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $AXFORGE_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model":"vit-base-r50-s16-224-orig-in21k","input":"text to embed"}'
