About

What llama_embedding_model is

This is a sentence-transformers model: It maps sentences & paragraphs to a 384 dimensional dense vector space and can be used for tasks like clustering or semantic search.

Usage (Sentence-Transformers)

Using this model becomes easy when you have sentence-transformers installed:

pip install -U sentence-transformers

Then you can use the model like this:

from sentence_transformers import SentenceTransformer
sentences = ["This is an example sentence", "Each sentence is converted"]

model = SentenceTransformer('thuan9889/llama_embedding_model_v1')
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings)

Evaluation Results

For an automated evaluation of this model, see the Sentence Embeddings Benchmark: https://seb.sbert.net

Using it via the API

Call it like any OpenAI endpoint

Once AxForge deploys llama-embedding-model for you, it answers on the OpenAI-compatible API — the same base URL and keys as every other model. (llama-embedding-model below is illustrative; you get the exact model name on deployment.)

$ curl -sS https://api.axforge.ai/v1/embeddings \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AXFORGE_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model":"llama-embedding-model","input":"text to embed"}'

Create an account — your API key is available in the console. 3M free tokens every 30 days with every new account.
